This joint has always had a special place in my heart. In my college years, I used to regularly come down to watch the legendary Rick McGhie play all the favourites. It was also a spot I used to gig as well. To return to London and see that it hadn’t lost its charm was a welcome feeling. It recently changed hands of ownership and so far I absolutely love what they are doing with the place. Expanding their events style to so much more. Dance parties, hip hop shows, comedy nights. They even have karaoke rooms! The staff are always lovely and the food and drink selection is among the best for pubs in London. Thanks Poachers for all the good times!

I had my 23rd birthday here, had an absolutely amazing time, shout out specifically to Dwight and Brad , karaoke was so fun, The amount of songs they had were out of this world, drinks and food were so good, I'd highly recommend going here for a night out, a party or an event, you will not be disappointed

Came into town for a concert and stopped to grab some food and drinks beforehand. Got the BEST appetizer platter (that ultimately got the better of us even though we didn't want to STOP eating it) On top of that, Hailey was the best waitress we could have asked for! 10/10, will come back again!

I want to give 6 stars if can. I finally tried The Famous Korean Fried Chicken and just fell in love with it. I ordered the half crispy and half Korean-Style seasoned and, like in the pictures, it came as a complete meal package including a decent size radish pickle (also quite Korean style), coleslaw, french-fry, and garlic dipping sauce. It was an amazing food experience - taste just as good as how it was back in home. I think I don't need to go to Korea town in Toronto anymore for my soul food. Thanks Poacher's for adding another fantastic reason of loving Local!

This is my favourite bar in London. Vibes are always great and we always have an awesome time.Table service is not very fast as they clearly need more staff, and food quality is not always consistent, ...but its just a very chill, relaxed and welcoming environment and it is a nice mix of people. Staff are lovely, they just need more of them. We love going for the No Scrubs Dance Parties, or just a chill drink after going out for dinner or before a concert. Any occasion, it is our go-to spot. Whenever we have friends visiting we take them there and they always love how relaxed and unpretentious it is. We are in our late 30s now but will continue to go here as long as we are welcomed lol. ----- One thing I think they really need to change though is the practice of not providing a bill when receiving table service. We just receive the machine, but no bill to indicate how much things cost. They used to, so I am not sure what changed. To anyone re-visiting London, the Korean Fry chicken is gone as it is under new ownership, but the wings are still great if you get the korean inspired flavoured sauce. Though I did get the dry cajun ones and I wouldn't recommend them anymore.
